The Casablanca Mohammed V Airport to Marrakech transfer is one of the most requested routes in Morocco. Many travellers fly into CMN — which has the widest range of international connections — and then need to reach Marrakech, 240 km to the south-east.

You pass through agricultural land, Berber villages, and — as you approach Marrakech — the first views of the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon. On a clear day, the snow-capped peaks are visible from the motorway an hour outside the city.

The distance is approximately 240 km. Journey times:
- Standard conditions: 2 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes
- Heavy traffic leaving Casablanca (morning rush, Friday afternoon): 3 hours to 3 hours 30 minutes
- Night driving (little traffic): 2 hours 20 minutes

Maroc train (ONCF) operates a service between Casablanca Airport station and Marrakech. The journey takes approximately 3 hours, with a change at Casa-Voyageurs in some timetables.
The train is affordable (around 100–150 MAD per person in second class). However:
- You need to get from the arrivals hall to the airport train station (a 5-minute walk or shuttle)
- Large luggage can be awkward in packed carriages
- The train drops you at Marrakech Gare, still 2–3 km from the medina — you then need another taxi
- Timetables are limited; if your flight is delayed, you may wait hours for the next train
For solo travellers with one bag and plenty of time, the train is a reasonable choice. For families, couples with luggage, business travellers, or anyone arriving late, a private transfer is the practical option.
